The supremely talented TobyMac has dropped the official lyric video for his new hit song “a Lil Church.” One of the biggest names in the Christian music scene has released the lyric video for his latest catchy, upbeat and uplifting tune. Check out the video to hear the song and watch the lyric video.

The world is often not a kind, warm or welcoming place. In fact, most of the time, it is quite the opposite, which can leave you broken, beaten up and bruised. Situations and circumstances can leave us lost, hurting and searching for answers.

Sadly, too many people are constantly in those positions. They struggle to keep their heads above water and find the will and strength to keep going. The simple fact is that none of us can do this life alone. The Bible tells us to put all of our burdens upon Him, to bring that situation and leave it at His feet. He is more than capable of doing much more than our minds could ever conceive or imagine.

This is precisely the state and condition TobyMac describes in the lyric video for his song “a Lil Church.” He sings about trying to do things independently, carrying and shouldering everything himself. That, of course, has not and will never work. It has left him broken and lost in the wilderness, searching for a way to become whole again.

Luckily, as he sings, he knows the solution to his problem. In the second verse of “a Lil Church,” TobyMac beautifully states the answer.

“So far from runnin’ over

So close to givin’ in

It’s gonna take the hands that made me

To make me whole again”

Throughout life, situations will break and overwhelm you, leaving you battered and bruised. But Christ is the answer to any and every problem we encounter. He is faithful, loving, merciful and willing and able to carry our burdens.

Psalm 55:22 “Put your cares on the Lord, and he will be your support; he will not let the upright be moved.”

Chase Rice takes Kelly Clarkson’s stage to perform his soul-stirring ‘Hey God It’s Me Again’ and demonstrates how his musical goals and direction have changed over the years. Kelly, looking gorgeous in jewel-toned satin, introduces Chase and shares a comment the 39-year-old singer shared with a reporter, “I want to write songs that are crazy deep and make people think.” ‘Hey God It’s Me Again,’ from Chase’s recent album, ‘Go Down Singin’’, certainly does that!

Low-key and casual, Chase wears dark jeans, a black baseball cap, and a white t-shirt. Near the top of his guitar strap, the words “I Hate Cowboys” are easily read—reflective of an earlier album entitled ‘I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell.’ Perhaps a bit of satire? Actually, the album title references two songs that are part of the project—both intentionally provocative. 

‘Country Now’ wrote, in a September 2024 article, that Chase’s music has undergone a “transformation.” They added, “With his new album, Go Down Singin’, Rice continues to embrace authenticity and finds himself making music that he is truly passionate about. The result is an 11-song project that dives deep into his personal and musical journey.”

Transformation in our personal lives or work often comes as a result of lived experiences. Chase Rice has had a few since his upbringing in Ormond Beach, Florida, and Asheville, North Carolina. After graduating from high school, Chase attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a linebacker on the football team, but an injury ended his football career.

Before graduating from college, Chase’s father died suddenly at the age of 58. Chase was just 22 years old at the time. When he finished school, he was offered a spot as a tire changer on a very successful NASCAR pit crew. In 2010, he competed in Survivor: Nicaragua. Chase came in second and took his $100,000 winnings to Nashville to embark on a music career. 

Life does take unexpected turns, and often, those are painful. Chase Rice’s song, by his own admission, is a product of the turns in his life and resulting growth, both personally and professionally, along the way. Thanks, Chase, for a song that reminds us all to move in a little closer and listen a little longer to God.

Don’t miss this beautiful Big Band rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ sung with Aubrey Logan. There’s something about the song ‘Amazing Grace’ that moves our hearts with gratitude for what Jesus did on the cross. Many would say that ‘Amazing Grace’ is Christian’s anthem. I would have to agree. No other song or hymn moves hearts or changes attitudes the way ‘Amazing Grace’ does. 

I often wonder if it’s because it's so easy to get caught up in the struggles of everyday life, to feel like the weight of the world is on us. But when we hear the first few notes of the song, even in our lowest moments, we know God’s love never fails. And we’re reminded that His grace knows no boundaries. 

And isn’t it powerful to know that His grace is amazing precisely because it’s undeserved? We are saved not by anything we do but by what God has already done for us through Christ. There is nothing more humbling or awe-inspiring than that. When we sing along to ‘Amazing Grace,’ we join in the timeless anthem of people who have walked through struggles and found hope, healing, and redemption in the grace of God.

And if you haven’t heard of Aubrey Logan and The Big Band, you’re in for a real treat today as they perform our beloved song. Together, they created a jazz-inspired brass song with Aubrey hitting every high note. I loved watching the performance and watching how Aubrey poured her heart into it. It was incredible to listen to how she hit the high notes while maintaining the gentle, almost intimate tone needed for the sacred words of ‘Amazing Grace.’ 

For those who are The Band fans, as well as fans of Aubrey, they had a few things to say about it on YouTube. One viewer who knows what it's like to arrange music stated, “Outstanding! Great singing and 'bone solo!  The arrangement is out of this world!” Another fan gushed over the performance. She said, “Wow! I love the band sound and your voice! So well done and gracious! Thank you, Aubrey and her band.”  Another viewer commented on Aubrey’s bravery. He added, “That was a beautiful rendition, and you are courageous for including Amazing Grace in your album. I love it.”

Sisters Lucy and Martha Thomas delivered a stunning duet of the beloved Christmas hymn “Silent Night.” The two young women demonstrated their immense musical gifts and abilities with their lovely performance of the classic. Check out the video to watch and listen to their dazzling rendition.

Christmas is a season with no shortage of tunes. There is bound to be a Christmas-themed song for every taste and preference. Santa, Frosty and Rudolph all get their time to shine, and many tracks are dedicated to them and their Christmastime adventures.

While those secular songs are fun and enjoyable, other more classic, religious Christmas songs help put the focus on the real meaning and cause for the celebration: the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a meaningless and empty exercise without celebrating and honoring Christ's arrival on Earth. One of those songs that best captures the significance and importance of Christ’s birth for all humanity is “Silent Night.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Thomas sisters perform a charming rendition of that timeless tune about the evening Jesus Christ entered the world. Yes, it may be a song we’ve all heard hundreds, possibly thousands of times, but that does not diminish the lyrics' beauty and meaning.

Christmas is a wonderful but typically busy time of year. People are often rushing to pick up an extra gift, hurrying to wrap presents or hustling over to yet another Christmas party. However, whatever we do during Christmas, let us remember the real reason for all the gatherings, meals and gifts. 

Christmas is a celebration of when Jesus Christ, the greatest gift ever given, entered the world, which the two talented singers so beautifully sang about.

Luke 2:7 “And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.”

You’ll sure have a new favorite rendition of this song as you listen to a powerful husband and wife cover of the Elevation worship’s song ‘Praise.’ I can hardly believe it’s been only a little more than a year since the song ‘Praise’ was released by Elevation worship band. It feels like it’s a part of our daily life, a song meant to be sung down in the depths and high on the mountaintops. 

Since its release, so many artists and musicians have played several versions and renditions of the song. But there is none to compare to Marcy Tingzou and her husband, Leo. In their living room, Mercy smiles brightly as she sits on her coffee table to introduce us to the song and her husband. She can barely contain her excitement to sing to the Lord. It’s absolutely refreshing. 

Before she began to sing, she looked at her husband and said, “Later on, when we come back and see this video, may we always remember this moment. And I’m glad that we’re able to sing praise and be able to do this. She added, “Let’s sing this song ‘Praise’ in our own version,” as she smiled and laughed with her husband. 

The lyrics call us to worship God in every season of life—whether we’re walking through valleys of doubt or standing firm on mountaintops of victory. One of the most striking themes is the unwavering resolve to praise, no matter the circumstances: “I’ll praise when I feel it, and I’ll praise when I don’t.” This line speaks directly to our hearts, reminding us that praise isn’t dependent on feelings but anchored in the unchanging truth of who God is. That is refreshing to know, especially when life can shift through the ups and downs from one hour to the next. 

Their performance is so impactful it gained over 12,000 views and dozens of comments. One raving fan stated, “Wow Mercy, so good to see you both together, looking forward for more.” 

While dozens of commenters came from new fans who couldn’t help but post they were new subscribers and loved hearing her angelic voice. Some comments included how well Leo played alongside his sweet wife. One fan commented, “Wow just love it dear. Keep uploading. I want to see you both together!”

What happens when hundreds of voices unite in a breathtaking Hallelujah performance? Two things: a world record close to being broken and the hearts of everyone fusing together in love over one song. If you haven’t heard of Choir, Choir, Choir, I am so glad to introduce you to their music. They don’t just perform on stage; they make the audience a part of it. The Epic Anthems Sing-Along is in Vancouver, where the sold-out crowd was united in song. The night was filled with powerful performances of classic anthems, but the moment that stole everyone’s heart was the stunning rendition of Leonard Cohen's ‘Hallelujah.’

When music touches our souls, barriers fall away. In that crowd, there were no strangers—only friends united by the love of song. Choir! Choir! Choir! has a gift for bringing people together, and the impact was profound. The power of a shared experience in the midst of music is nothing short of miraculous.

You know, when I hear the line about the "secret chord" from Hallelujah, I’m reminded of the story of King David. 

“Now I've heard there was a secret chord, That David played, and it pleased the Lord. But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth. The minor falls, the major lifts. The baffled king composing, Hallelujah.”

King David was a man after God’s own heart, and music played a huge role in his relationship with God. That secret chord? It’s like this hidden connection between our souls and the Lord, a powerful, almost mysterious force that resonates deep within. Sometimes, life leaves us feeling baffled, like a king composing a song of praise in the midst of confusion—but still, we offer up our Hallelujah. And it’s the only thing we can truly offer in praise. The beauty of it is that it doesn’t have to sound beautiful to us or be perfect–to the Lord–He wants our honest, deep cries. All of it, the good and the bad. 

Do you know what I love most about a moment like this? God knows our hearts and voices. He knows each of us so individually and so deeply. He loves and knows the hairs on our heads, what we're thinking and what we’re facing. Your hallelujah is just as powerful alone as it is with hundreds of others.

One young woman, Isabelle Slatcha, delivered a powerful and beautiful performance of “Your Ways are Higher than Mine.” This is an excellent rendition of a tune about having faith and relying upon Him in uncertain and confusing circumstances. This dazzling performance, which deserves to be watched and listened to multiple times, will likely bring a tear or two to your eye.

Life does not always go according to our plan if you haven’t already figured that one out. Unforeseen troubling circumstances and obstacles, often through no fault of our own, will pop up out of nowhere, making life more difficult. Of course, our natural reaction is to respond with anger or sadness and claim that this situation isn’t part of the plan.

But, as all Christians learn sooner or later, God isn’t beholden to our plans, objectives or ambitions. He has a plan and a will for our lives. He may have a plan to use the obstacles and hurdles that cause uncertainty in our lives to help mold us into the person that He wants us to be. We don’t know, but in those times, we have to trust Him, lay it at His feet and understand that His plans are higher and better than our ways.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young woman sings a tune about having faith and trusting in God even when things ahead appear a bit murky and unclear. “Your Ways are Higher Than Mine,” originally a tune by The Collingsworth Family, is a wonderfully written tune about accepting what we don’t know and laying that situation at His feet.

I want mountains to move

You want me to climb

So, I’m going to trust Your work, Your will and Your time”

Later in the song, the lyrics mention something we’ve all likely done after getting through a time of great uncertainty when all we could do was trust Him. We’ll look back at the situation and be amazed because we’ll be able to see how He was at work in that situation. His ways are better and higher than ours.

Redeemed Quartet has released an official music video for their soul-stirring cover of the beloved hymn “When We All Get to Heaven.” The guys delivered a stunning and powerful rendition of the timeless tune. Check out this video for the delightful cover of “When We All Get to Heaven.”

Hymns are underrated, underused and underappreciated pieces of music. Most people, and even many churches, forgo and skip right over the hymns, opting to go with more modern, contemporary Christian music. That’s fine and ultimately a personal choice, but most hymns are so powerful and wonderfully written.

Contemporary Christian music cannot compete with the hymns, in my opinion. What modern praise and worship song could ever come close to matching “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “Blessed Assurance” or “To God Be the Glory?” And that is without even mentioning “Amazing Grace,” which everyone knows cannot be topped.

“When We All Get to Heaven” is another hymn that many others cannot best. It’s a tune about the unexplained joy and happiness that will be felt after finally getting to our eternal home. We’ll finally be able to see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and be reunited with loved ones who have already gone on to glory.

In the video, the four young men demonstrate their immense musical talent, using their powerful voices to sing about that special moment when we finally make it to heaven. Their voices are so smooth, soothing and comforting. This is one rendition of the beloved hymn that you will want to watch and listen to repeatedly.
