James Kilbane Captivates with His Stunning 'O Holy Night' Cover

The incredibly talented James Kilbane, an Irish country and gospel singer, captivates with his stunning cover of the beloved Christmas tune “O Holy Night.”

Christmas is a beautiful time. Most would agree that it is the best period of the entire year. Friends and family members get together and typically enjoy a delicious, delectable meal and even exchange a few gifts while celebrating Jesus Christ's birth. What could be better than that?

In addition to the many parties, dinners and gifts, the Christmas season has plenty of songs themed around the time of year. Hundreds, likely thousands, of versions of the most beloved Christmas tunes exist. Of course, you can likely name a handful of Christmas songs right off the top of your head. “Away in a Manger," "Joy to the World" and "Silent Night" are just a few of them.

Another Christmastime favorite, rightfully heard year after year, is “O Holy Night.” In the above clip, James covers the beloved hymn, which celebrates and retells the events on the night that Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior, entered the world. Most are incredibly familiar with that specific hymn, but that familiarity does not lessen the lyrics' meaning and impact.

“O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining

It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth

Long lay the world in sin and error pining

“Til He appeared, and the soul felt its worth”

James’s vocal performance is dazzling and awe-inspiring as he displays his immense God-given musical talents with the Christmas cover. At different points throughout the clip, if one were not watching the video and simply listening to it, one might believe they were listening to Elvis Presley’s version of “O Holy Night.” There are some definite similarities between Presley’s and James’s voice.

Isaiah 9:6 “For to unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

James Kilbane Captivates with Soul-Stirring 'Amazing Grace' Performance

One man used his powerful voice to belt out an awe-inspiring hymn. James Kilbane captivates with a soul-stirring ‘Amazing Grace’ performance you don’t want to miss.

Hymns like ‘Amazing Grace’ are the anthem for Christians. They are our beautiful reminder of what Christ did on the cross for us. They reveal the depth of our need for God and remind us of the depth of God’s unwavering love for wretched sinners like ourselves.

Hymns like 'Amazing Grace' have been a cherished part of the worship tradition in churches for centuries. Some songs like ‘Amazing Grace’ have been timeless songs filled with Biblical truths that apply to our lives today. They usher us into moments of deep gratitude as we worship.

‘Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.’

What makes ‘Amazing Grace’ so special is its powerful message of redemption. Written by John Newton in 1772, its words are nestled in our hearts as we lift up our voices in gratitude all these centuries later. What I love about this version is how James Kilbane captures the true meaning of the song. His rich voice captures the depth of the song in unimaginable ways.

His rendition of the beloved song is nothing but soul-stirring. As he sings, the lyrics become more than a song and sound more like a personal story, a story we can all relate to. What I love most about this performance is how there are no backgrounds, no music, or artistic props. It’s just James, his voice, and his love for Christ. This music video captures your attention and warms your heart.

We hope you take a moment to let this beautiful version of ‘Amazing Grace’ wash over you in peace as it stirs gratitude in your heart. May it resonate in your heart and bless your day.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Anthony Evans’ Powerful 'In Christ Alone' Performance Will Give You Chills

Anthony Evans’ powerful and moving “In Christ Alone” performance will give you chills.

It’s safe to say contemporary Christian music has overtaken hymns in terms of popularity. Songs by talented Christian artists such as Lauren Daigle, Matthew West, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp and others can be easily found and heard on radio stations. Even many churches and other places of worship have moved away from hymns to go with contemporary Christian hits.

When it comes to hymns and contemporary Christian music, it’s all a matter of preference. I would much rather hear “Amazing Grace” or “How Great Thou Art” in church over a newer, modern Christian tune. However, I understand entirely why someone might feel differently. Again, everyone has an opinion, and sometimes people disagree.

But whatever your opinion is regarding your preference between hymns and contemporary Christian music, everyone can agree that Anthony Evans is a supremely talented musician. He has been blessed with a voice from the heavens. His vocal performances are always more than worth a listen.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Anthony gives another powerhouse performance. This time, he sings the beloved and classic hit “In Christ Alone.” The beautiful song reminds us that we are nothing without the Lord. Because of Him, we have faith and hope for a future. We can be forgiven and experience eternal life because of His sacrifice on the cross.

“In Christ alone, my hope is found

He is my light, my strength, my song

This Cornerstone, this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest drought and storm”

What beautiful and true words!

In addition to the beautiful words, Anthony’s spectacular performance makes this a version that you will likely turn to repeatedly. His vocal performance is stunning and flawless, with an effortlessness that makes it even more awe-inspiring.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Songs Of Shiloh: Closer Than A Heartbeat

Proclaiming the truths of our God is a very uplifting and life giving experience. Including these powerful proclamations in the framework of a song creates a real time connection between our Father in heaven and the believers who are worshiping Him. God is seeking people who will worship Him in spirit and truth. (John 4:23) But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him.

We'll All Meet Again

When we lose someone we love, we all long for the day we will reunite. Lyrics by Patricia Braud-Bishop (USA) and Clare Steffen (USA), and Music by John Murr (Ireland), as a part of the Round The Globe project.

Living in God's Light - (A Living Christmas Card) Ian Faith

“Living in God’s light” is an ode to the Christmas carols, songs, and hymns that bring so much happiness and joy to people during the Christmas Season and create such great memories. Too many popular Christmas songs leave out that Jesus is the reason for the season and the gift is Jesus, the savior of the world. All the trappings of shopping for gifts, Santa Claus, Father Christmas, and gift-giving are all metaphors for God giving the world his son to fulfill the scriptures. My prayer is that through this song people will embrace the true holy spirit of Christmas, start their journey to read the bible with the Christmas story in Luke or Matthew, and give their life to Christ to find true joy that will last throughout the year. “Hallelujah, Jesus Christ!” “Living in God’s Light” is the first song from his upcoming album to be released in mid 2025. https://globalcreativegroup.com/living-in-gods-light/ #christmas #christmascarol #christmasmusic #christmassongs

Big Daddy Weave’s Moving 'My Hope Is Jesus' Lyric Video

Big Daddy Weave’s moving ‘My Hope Is Jesus’ lyric video is just what you need to add hope and joy to your day. It’s an uplifting song about how there is unshakable hope we have in Christ. The band is known for their inspiring and powerful songs, and they’ve done it again. They performed a song that gets to the heart of our lives, especially for those facing challenges and struggles.

This new song reminds us of Hebrews 6:19 in the Good Book about hope, "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain." It reminds us the Lord is our anchor in the stormy seasons of life. We can rest knowing God is going to help us make it through.

‘There's hope when the night is falling

Hope when the fight is calling

Hope when the fear is closing in’

The song then reminds us God is the lamp for us to shine light on the darkest paths we walk. The chorus line breaks through the hopelessness and reminds us God is the one constant in our lives. Our circumstances may change but hope in Christ will always remain. What an incredible reminder. No matter what we are facing, God will always be there holding us in His mighty hands.

What I love most about this new lyric video is the video’s visual images are paired beautifully with the lyrics of the song. The song's overall message is that our hope is in Jesus no matter what. Then as the song's final verses come to an end, we are reminded, "There's hope even at my lowest, hope in this very moment, hope when I breathe my final breath." We don’t just have hope for today; we have it for a lifetime, and it stretches into eternity because through God there is life after death. What an incredible thought.

Praise the Lord that we have this kind of hope. May this lyric video be the bright spot of your day.

Hebrews 6:19  "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain."

Phil Wickham’s Beautiful Christmas Song 'Shepherd Boy' Lyric Video

One of the biggest names in Christian music, Phil Wickham, has released the official lyric video for this beautiful Christmas song, “Shepherd Boy.”

When people think of a king, they typically imagine everything decorated in gold, excessive wealth, mansions and hundreds of people who respond to their every beck and call. Kings are usually concerned only about themselves and not for anyone else’s welfare. Royalty would never associate with members of the servant class and others of low social status.

When He came to Earth, Jesus Christ, who is the King of Kings, did everything the opposite usually thought of royalty. He cared for and about sinners and associated with those considered the lowest of the low in society. He wasn’t born in a mansion or a castle but to a virgin in a lowly manger surrounded by barnyard animals.

Also, some of the first people to learn of Christ’s birth on that most holy night were those attending to their sheep in the fields. In his new song “Shepherd Boy,” Phil captures the night of Christ’s birth from the perspective of a shepherd boy.

Both the song and the lyric video are absolutely beautiful. They are likely to bring tears to your eyes as they tell of the night that changed everything forever for everyone. The song perfectly captures the utter joy and happiness that all must have felt that night after learning that God’s Son had finally arrived.

Like the rest of the tune, the song's chorus is beautifully written.

“Glory to God in the highest

Peace to His people here on Earth

For the Savior is born

Emmanuel, God is with us”

This is sure to be a Christmas song that you add to your seasonal rotation and listen to it every Christmas season.

Luke 2:7 “And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.”

Little Big Town Dazzles with Beautiful 'Christmas Time Is Here' Cover

The incredibly popular country music group Little Big Town dazzles with its stunningly beautiful cover of “Christmas Time is Here.”

Nearly everyone agrees that Christmas is a wonderful, joyous time of year when family and friends get together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It’s easily one of, if not the best time, of the year. However, every year, one of the biggest debates surrounding the Christmas season is about Christmas music. So, what is this hotly debated topic exactly? Of course, it’s concerning the proper date and time to begin listening to Christmas music. How early is too early?

People have different opinions on this topic. I’ve heard some people say that it’s acceptable to listen to Christmas music before Halloween. Others prefer to wait until after Oct. 31 and still more individuals think it’s not OK until after Thanksgiving. Personally, I believe that listening to any Christmas tune before Nov. 1 feels just wrong, with few exceptions.

Regardless of your thoughts and opinions on that highly polarized subject, some covers and even a few classics are so good that listening to them a little early is all right. One of those terrific covers is Little Big Town’s rendition of “Christmas Time is Here.”

“Christmas Time is Here” is an old, beloved favorite Christmas track everyone knows. However, Little Big Town’s cover of the classic track is delightful. The group’s beautiful voices are perfect for this song, and their version is a most enjoyable mixture of country and jazz.

It's a soft, mellow, easy-listening version that would work great in the background as you wrap presents or prepare Christmas dinner for your many guests.

Little Big Town’s cover of “Christmas Time is Here” is one song you will likely return to repeatedly for years.
