Dazzling A Capella Rendition Of 'Amazing Grace'

Prepare to be encouraged by this beautiful performance. Watch this dazzling a capella rendition of ‘Amazing Grace.’

Boyce Avenue and Connie Talbot join together in this stunning a cappella song. The man begins to sing with such a crisp and pure tone. He sings from his heart and smiles as he reflects on the lyrics of this timeless hymn. The rest of the group joined in with gorgeous harmonies. Connie then comes in with her solo for the second voice. She is so easy to listen to and truly gifted. All three men do background vocals that add a lot of depth.

The third verse goes back to the male vocalist and you will reflect on the words sung on our Savior Jesus. This version of the song is very calming and simple. It strips down anything showy and just sings out the words meaningfully. The chorus comes back again and will blow you away. You will feel like you are with the church and join in singing along.

At the end, the lead singer does some incredible and tasteful runs with his voice. He is so gifted. This is more than a timeless song to those who belong to Jesus. These words are everything. They remind us of the hope and salvation that we have because of His death and resurrection. He has given us great joy in our identity as children of God.

The chorus of this song never gets old:

‘I once was lost, but now am found,

was blind, but now I see.’

We can listen and worship along with this performance, knowing that we know our Savior Jesus.

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.”  Isaiah 35:5-6

Fantastic Bluegrass Cover of Lauren Daigle's 'You Say'

Prepare to see Becky & the Bluegrass Boys to knock it out of the water. Check out this fantastic bluegrass cover of Lauran Daigle’s ‘You Say.’

At the start of the video, we see gorgeous mountain views in the fall. The bluegrass band is shown playing in the field with the golden leaves behind them. Becky starts to sing. This is a very different take on the original song. It is creative and intriguing, and you want to know what this group will do next. The harmonies are absolutely beautiful.

The chorus is upbeat and encouraging. We reflect on how Christ has called us and loved us. He has given us identity in Him, and hearing these voices and instruments speak the truth of Scripture over us gives us joy. After the chorus, the fiddler does a fantastic job on a solo instrumental while seen in the woods by himself playing his fiddle.

Verse 2 is sung by a male vocalist, it adds new depth. His voice is also wonderful. Each person in the band brings a unique gift. The group harmonizes very well together, they have a great blend. We get to hear a second fiddle solo as we view clips of the autumn foliage in the mountain range. It is so beautiful.

At the bridge, the three lead vocalists then are seen singing in a softer moment. They then go back into the chorus and walk through the woods as an entire band while playing their instruments and singing. These musicians are talented and present delight in the Lord. They bring us into nature as we ponder the greatness of God and the blessing of being known and loved by our Creator.

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”  Isaiah 49:16

Woman’s Stunning Cover of 'How Great Thou Art'

Have you heard this woman’s stunning cover of ‘How Great Thou Art?’ It’s stunning. The video opens with a moment of silence as hands caress a piano before it’s opened, and the notes to this beautiful worship song fill the air.

The moment Amanda Paris begins to sing, it fills the room with an incredible sense of God’s presence and peace. Her voice and love for Jesus shine through her words and connect with your soul. Her voice carries so much emotion that you can tell she means every word as she sings, standing in a shimmering gold dress with a background draped in heavy red curtains. It’s the perfect setting to sing how grateful we are for God’s neverending grace.

So, who is this beautiful soul that is singing? Amanda is a co-singer of ‘Melodies of Heaven’ on YouTube with over 32.8 thousand followers. She partners with her friend Channelle. Their bio is captioned: “Chanelle & Amanda are singing evangelists from Saved To Serve Ministries. Our mission is to carry melodies and sunshine into many lonely places darkened by sin, sorrow and affliction.”

They added, “Whether you're seeking comfort in challenging times, in need of encouragement, or looking to deepen your connection with God , you'll find something here that speaks to your soul.”

There are days when our hearts can’t help but praise the Lord. Then there are days when we can barely utter a whisper of a prayer. It’s wonderful to know there are places online like Melodies of Heaven that can give us a chance to connect to God in worship no matter what we are feeling.

‘How Great Thou Art’ encourages us to lift our voices in praise and thank Him for His goodness and strength. We hope this beautiful rendition warmed your heart today.

Psalm 95:1 "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation."

Dennis Quaid Heartfelt 'What A Friend We Have In Jesus' Live Performance

Who knew this guy was so multi-talented? Listen to Dennis Quaid’s heartfelt ‘What A Friend We Have In Jesus’ live performance at Gaither Studios. It’s a beautiful country; you don’t want to miss the Gospel rendition.

Dennis is well known for his successful acting career and has been open about his faith in Christ. He’s played in several Christian movies like I Can Only Imagine and On A Wing and A Prayer. It’s so encouraging to see celebrities like Dennis use his platform to point others to Christ. The goal of this performance was to point everyone to the friend we have in Jesus.

At the start of the video, we see a confident Dennis full of reverence as he strums the first few notes of the hymn. As he sings the first verse of the song, his strong country-style voice carries us straight to the cross and reminds us that we indeed have a friend in Jesus. He’s the one we can run to and lay down our burdens. I love Dennis’ unique voice singing such precious words the most.

‘What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer’

The band joins in with the piano and sings the harmony as Dennis continues to sing each word full of faith. He reminds everyone with his southern, gritty voice what a privilege it is to know our Savior on a personal level. I love that he chose to sing this particular hymn that has been around since 1855 when a preacher by the name of Joseph Scriven originally wrote it as a poem for his mother. It was later turned into a hymn in 1868. Isn’t it incredible how words stand the test of time when they hit our hearts? Here we are hundreds of years later, grateful to worship a God who is our Savior and our friend.

As the song comes to an end, Dennis looks out at the crowd and reminds them, “Wherever you are, if you’re in need, if you’re in doubt, if you’re in pain, call out his name. He’ll be listening.” Can I get an amen? No matter what burdens you carry, call out Jesus’ name. He’s listening.

1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Beautiful 'There's Something About That Name' Rendition

In a world filled with noise and chaos, there’s deep comfort in the name of Jesus. Enjoy this beautiful ‘There’s Something About That Name’ Rendition by Joshua Ertle. His stirring rendition invites us into a deeper understanding of the weight of Jesus’ name. It transforms lives, especially our hearts and minds, as we reflect on who Jesus is to us.

“Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.” These words echo like a gentle reminder of the hope we find in Him. The repetition of the lyrics is a chance to focus on our minds on who Christ is as our master, Savior, comforter, and friend.

‘Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.

There is something about that name.

Master. Savior. Jesus.

Like the Fragrance after the rain.’

What an incredible way to describe what Jesus means to us by describing what it’s like to smell the earth after a thunderstorm. The rain washes everything away, leaving everything clean, clear, and new. With Jesus in our lives, we feel the same way. He takes our burdens, our shame, and our struggles and washes it away while helping us see life from His perspective as He continues to write our stories. No matter what we are facing, we can go on knowing He isn’t finished with us yet.

When we proclaim, ‘Let all of heaven and earth proclaim,’ we are joining the heavens and all of the earth as we rejoice in the mighty name of Christ. Kingdoms may rise and fall, but Jesus will forever remain. Struggles and circumstances will come, but Jesus will remain the same. Let this music video be a chance to let His presence wash over you and comfort your heart today. May this moment be a moment of uplifting encouragement.

Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”

Busker’s Breathtaking 'Hallelujah' Performance

A musically gifted and talented busker, Allie Sherlock, put on a breathtaking, free public performance of the classic 1980s tune “Hallelujah.”

Covers, like most other topics and subjects today, can be very polarizing and divisive. Some people may enjoy hearing covers of beloved, cherished songs, while others do not at all. In fact, some individuals may consider all covers to be lazy. “Come up with your own stuff,” they are likely thinking and might even say.

But, like most things in life, the majority of people are probably somewhere in the middle. They don’t make broad, sweeping pronouncements about all musical covers. Instead, they enjoy some covers while preferring never to hear others ever again. As we all know, some covers are great and possibly even better than the original, while others should have never been performed or recorded.

One song that has always been, and continues to be, a popular target for cover treatment is Leonard Cohen’s hit “Hallelujah.” Basically, if someone has ever picked up a microphone and taken a stage, they have probably performed “Hallelujah.” Now, that incredibly long list of musicians includes Allie.

As she does with every song she sings and plays, Allie knocks this one out of the park. Her voice is powerful and unique, which is probably why she has picked up quite a following on YouTube. Currently, she has more than six million subscribers to her channel!

Allie’s soulful take on this tune is fantastic. It’s more than worth a couple of listens, and every member of the sizable crowd she picks up throughout her performance will surely agree with that statement.

Whatever your feelings on musicians performing other artists’ work and the seemingly endless list of “Hallelujah” covers, I think we can all agree that Allie’s version of this song is one of the best.

Anne Wilson’s Powerful Live Performance of 'The Cross'

She’s done it again. Anne Wilson’s powerful live performance of ‘The Cross’ will leave you encouraged and uplifted. You would think with a voice like Anne’s that she had dreamed of becoming a singer. Initially, Anne wanted to be an astronaut and work for NASA. She had no plans to do anything to do with music. But that’s not the case. She didn’t sing in public until she was in her early 20s after the tragic passing of her brother. Her brother was killed in a car accident in June of 2017

She felt led to sing at her brother’s funeral. The music was so powerful it went viral. Clearly, God had other plans for her life. Since then, Anne has been a rising star in the Christian realm. Her music is about keeping our eyes on Christ no matter the struggle or trial.

Her latest song is incredible right from the beginning, she sings:

‘You've been tryin' hard to bear the weight of all your shame

And if there's a God up there, you're sure He forgot your name

When your steps are getting heavy, and hope looks all but lost

Just bring it all to the cross’

What a beautiful reminder we no longer bare the heavy weight of our shame. She points listeners who feel lost to go directly to the cross. But the next chorus line is perhaps the best part of the song. She reminds us of the never ending grace we have in Christ. It doesn’t matter what our past is, we all receive God’s grace. It’s never too late.

We hope this performance serves as a heartfelt reminder you’re never too far to run to the cross and be embraced by God’s grace.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Beautiful Bluegrass Covers of 'At Calvary' and 'At The Cross'

An incredibly talented singer, Sherry Anne, turned in a beautiful and delightful bluegrass performance, singing a medley of two of the most beloved hymns, “At Calvary” and “At the Cross.”

Human beings are a sinful and lost group, which the Bible confirms. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. In Romans, the Bible also states that “there is none righteous, no, not even one.” So, knowing that we are sinners who have willingly turned our backs on God, we honestly deserve death, as the Bible says are the wages of sin.

However, because of God’s immense, never-ending and inexplicable love for us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to Earth on our behalf. Christ, who willingly went to the cross at Calvary, suffered and died for us. His bloodshed for us at the cross and His resurrection forever and always changed everything for us. We now have a future and hope because of what He did at Calvary and on the cross.

Without what Christ did at Calvary and on the cross, we’d all be without hope and destined to be lost for eternity. So, it would only make sense to pair the tunes “At Calvary” and “At the Cross” together, as Sherry did in a clip posted on YouTube.

This joyous and outstanding musical performance tells of Christ’s unbelievable and awe-inspiring love, mercy and grace. It’s one that you’ll want to return to repeatedly.

Sherry provides a fantastic vocal performance, but the beautiful and powerful lyrics about Christ’s life-changing act of love steal the show. And honestly, how could it not? Christ did for us what we could not do for ourselves. He paid a debt that we will never be able to repay. He offers forgiveness and eternal salvation, gifts that we most certainly do not deserve.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Aretha Franklin’s Powerful and Moving 'What A Friend We Have In Jesus' Performance

The incredibly talented Aretha Franklin gave a powerful and moving performance of the beloved hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

There are some singers and musicians whose talent is so massive, so evident and apparent that their sound will never be able to be replicated or duplicated. The late Aretha Franklin was one of those select few. Her voice was incredibly powerful and unmistakably hers. The second she started singing, you immediately knew who was belting out the lyrics.

Sure, some people may cover her tunes, putting their spin on an Aretha song here and there. Some of them might even be pretty good, but no one will ever be able to outdo Aretha. The woman could flat-out sing, able to reach, hit and hold notes that most vocalists can only dream of singing.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Aretha uses her stunning voice to praise and honor the Lord in a 1972 performance. While performing with a handful of musicians, she sings “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

“What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer”

The performance is a fantastic, spirited rendition of the classic hymn we all know and love. Aretha, while standing behind the pulpit, belts out the familiar lyrics. It’s stunning how clean and clear she sounds, especially given that this performance is over 50 years old.

At several points throughout the clip, Aretha displays that unique, powerful voice. She reaches back multiple times and hits notes, showing she was blessed with talent and a voice from the heavens.

Churches regularly put together talented praise and worship teams capable of singing nearly every song of praise. But can you imagine going to church one Sunday morning and seeing someone of Aretha’s caliber and talent level join the worship team?

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
