Gracious God, as my child begins another school year, I come before You seeking divine protection. Please surround them with Your love and shield them from any harm or danger they might encounter. I pray for the safety and well-being of every student, teacher, and staff member in the school system, and I ask for a hedge of protection around the building and school grounds.

While I know you can't really read yet, there are a few things I want to put down in writing before you launch into uncharted territory.

We are so thankful that You are a Father that sees, hears, and meets the needs of Your beloved children. As the blissful summer days come to a close and we come into another school year, we invite You to be ever-present and walk alongside our children. Please keep them safe and in Your loving care by removing excess stress and anxiety that generally come with the first day of school and replacing it with excitement, anticipation, and an eagerness to learn and grow.

Thank you teachers. You are amazing. I pray God’s blessings over you, this new year ahead.
