DOE Talks ‘Shiloh,’ Motherhood, Worship and Passing Faith to the Next Generation

GRAMMY Award-winning artist DOE joins GodTube Music to talk about her third album, Shiloh, a worship project rooted in family, legacy, and faith for generations to come.

DOE shares why she named the album after her son, how the theme of “posterity” shaped the project, and what it was like recording the album live surrounded by family and friends—including a special duet with her mother. She also opens up about the exciting news that she and her husband are expecting their second child.

DOE also discusses moving naturally between Gospel, CCM, and worship, why she feels a greater responsibility when writing songs for the Church, and what she would say to someone who is struggling to praise God in the middle of pain.

Plus, hear the stories behind songs including “High Praise” and “To You,” and why this season of motherhood and ministry has taught DOE to be present and give herself grace.
