The tone painting on this song is incredible. There are such unexpected vocal moments. It invites you to pour out your heart and cry out your tears when you are hurting and confused. Riley sings out and invites you to be honest and open with your Savior. Life is hard, and it is great to have music that invites our emotions to the cross of Christ. 

Her singing is an outcry to the Lord and is beautifully done. The simplicity of this music video matches the simplicity of the song. It is the shortest verse in Scripture but one of the most profound. There is great depth in the fact that our God, our Savior, wept. Jesus cried because He came into this world to fully take on the suffering of all of humanity. He did not enjoy the death of loved ones like Lazarus, and He was perfectly human and perfectly God. 

As we listen to this song and reflect on our own hardships and tears, Riley reminds us to rest in the truth that Jesus is there weeping with us. He empathizes with our sorrow, loss, hurt, and confusion. He welcomes our pain and questions and sits with us in our tears. In fact, Scripture tells us that He catches every tear that we have in His bottle. (Psalm 56:8) He cares for you personally and what is going on, and He loves His children.

This world will try and test your patience and push you to your breaking point. Situations and circumstances will leave you battered and bruised, leaving scars in their wake that serve as reminders. Times will arise that will pull, stretch and test your faith.

Life can be a challenging and brutal experience, leaving even the most mentally and physically tough person shattered and broken. Sadly, there are people who, every day, try to make it through by their own power and sheer force of will. This attitude and course of action is a recipe for disaster and destruction.

God will and does offer His love, guidance and protection. But before that can happen, we must realize that we are incredibly limited and unable to do much alone. We would fall apart if not for Him. Even those who have long been committed followers of Jesus Christ still need God’s touch and protection.

Check out this worshipful and adorable performance. A musical family’s heartfelt rendition of ‘He is Still on the Throne.’

At the start of this video, the father shares an encouraging message of hope that even in an uncertain world of trials, God is still on the throne. He and his wife have six beautiful children. Five are seen standing next to him, and the youngest one is sitting with his mother at the piano.  

The wife begins to play the piano, and the dad starts to sing the first verse. The children anticipate their time to join in singing. They smile as their dad leads. The family all join in during the chorus. Their harmonies and youthful voices bring a smile to anyone’s face. It is precious to watch the younger boys trying to sing into their personal microphones. The comedy keeps on coming. All are clothed professionally in their “Sunday best” and try their best to be attentive and focused.

Hearing this young family sing out the truth that salvation is secure in Jesus and He is still reigning fills us with hope. You will be excited to hear what they will do next and watch these kids perform. The little girl is the only daughter and shines bright, singing out. All of the boys are little gentlemen. 

The verses are inspiring that even in the hardships when we are oppressed by the work of the enemy, we have the hope of Christ in us. We can overcome the most challenging obstacles. Seeing the next generation sing out about the faithfulness of God reminds us of His continued goodness. He reveals Himself to young people and old. He is worthy of glory in every generation. Watching this family lead us in glorifying the Lord gives us great joy, plus the comedy from the youngest performers is priceless.

The woman singing in the video has such a beautiful voice, and the man singing along with her adds different harmonies that really elevate the song. They sound wonderful together, and it is a joy to hear them sing from their heart and glorify God with their voices. What a beautiful cover of this wonderful song!

The story behind the song ‘The Goodness of God’ and how it came to be is also beautiful. Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music shared about the adoption process of their son, Ryder, and how that influenced her to write this song.

“During the adoption process, I found myself driving on a long country road. I was just singing to the Lord when I recorded a song on my phone about the ‘faithfulness’ and ‘kindness of God.’ I wrote and sang most of ‘Goodness of God’ as an overflow of my heart at that moment,” she said.

This is one song that has encouraged and uplifted people when they hear it. It is a great reminder of how God runs after us to cover us and shower us with his goodness and faithfulness. He is our rock and strong foundation, and we can sing His praises for the rest of our days.

An incredibly talented, award-winning family of musicians, The Isaacs, captivated with their beautiful cover of “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Hymns are some of the best, most emotional pieces of music. They are also some of the best-written songs you’ll ever come across. Hymns tell of Christ’s love, forgiveness, mercy and grace in ways that other songs do not.

In addition to the emotion and message conveyed in those well-written tunes, they are severely underutilized. Many churches have moved away from the old hymns, choosing to use more contemporary Christian music. Churches and congregations can listen and play whatever they like, but nothing will ever beat “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace” or any other hymn.

Given this trend away from hymns, it’s always a treat to see and hear someone sing one of those old tunes. In a clip posted on YouTube, The Isaacs dazzled with a lovely cover of “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” Their vocal performances are wonderful, full of emotion and feeling about Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

A massive and incredibly talented choir turned in a chilling rendition of the beloved hymn “It Is Well with My Soul.”

The world is a lost, fallen and sad place. Many people are hurting, struggling and crying out for help and hope. Those individuals want something that will ease the pain and provide momentary relief.

Sadly, this is the current state of our world. People are hurting and lost in a society filled with chaos and disorder. Most people have no idea what peace feels and looks like. They will look every which way trying to find even a minute of tranquility and calm, and always come up empty.

But there is one who provides a peace that surpasses all understanding. When everything around us is hectic and out of control, Jesus Christ can and will provide a place of comfort and peace. He will be the shelter during the storm, a calm presence among the chaos and confusion in the world.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir composed of dozens of musically gifted vocalists sings a tune about the peace offered by Jesus Christ. “It is Well with My Soul” is a beloved and beautiful hymn about knowing that whatever happens in this life, Christ is still in control and remains on the throne.

The hymn’s opening verse is lovely. It perfectly captures and articulates the kind of peace and calm offered by Jesus Christ. While they may be more than familiar to followers of Christ, the verse tells of something many in the world don’t know but desperately need.

“When peace like a river, attendeth my way

When sorrows like sea billows roll

Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say

We can rest assured that whatever we come up against or encounter in life, Christ remains faithful. That is more than enough to give us peace, whatever our lot in life.

Matthew West's Beautiful Song 'Chosen' About Christ's Love

The incredibly talented Christian musician Matthew West has put out the official lyric video for his new song “Chosen,” which is a tune about the awe-inspiring love of Jesus Christ.

The Bible states that we’re all sinners. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Everyone on Earth, in their arrogance and disobedience, has willfully turned away from God, choosing their way over His.

Luckily, because of His incredible and mighty love for us, He made a way for us, a bunch of sinners, to receive forgiveness, get right with Him and experience eternal life someday. Because of this love, He sent His only Son, who willingly went to the cross, bleeding and dying as He took our place. Jesus Christ paid the debt and made the ultimate sacrifice for me and you.

What wonderful and powerful love!

Even though Christ went through all of that, dying and later resurrecting for the sins of humanity, some people still believe they are too far gone for Christ. They feel their sins are too much for God to overlook. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

In the lyric video for his song “Chosen,” Matthew sings about this wondrous, life-changing love. While singing the beautifully written lyrics, Matthew addresses those who may feel their sins are too great and could never be forgiven.

No matter what we may do or where we may go, we’ll never be able to escape Christ’s love. We’ll also never be able to change the fact that He went to the cross, suffered and died for you and me.

The incredibly talented and popular Christian music group, The Collingsworth Family, has turned in an inspiring and uplifting performance of “Praise the Lord.”

This world can be a sad, lonely and cruel place. Sadly, there will be situations you’ll endure that will leave you beaten, battered and bruised. Circumstances might even get so bad that you reach the point where you begin to consider giving up and throwing in the towel. Life is not fair, and anyone who says otherwise is incredibly wrong.

Yes, situations in life may become overwhelming, pushing you to your breaking point. But no matter how deep and dark the valley, the Lord will always remain steadfast and faithful. He will never leave or forsake you. Instead, He will stay by your side, going through the fight and enduring the pain with you.

In a clip posted on social media, The Collingsworth Family performed “Praise the Lord.” It’s a tune that reminds us that no matter what may happen or what we’re going through, He will always remain faithful.

All the vocal performances are top-notch, and you’ll probably want to go back and listen to them several times. But, of course, it’s the lyrics and the song’s message that are the focus.
