And I'm gonna praise you, I'm gonna praise you’

“That is how to celebrate Mandisa!” says Ryan Seacrest as he walks on the stage at the end of the performance. “Thank you for coming back for this,” he says to the singers. Then Ryan asks Melinda about her friendship with the late singer.

“I’ve known her for over 20 years. We started off singing background in sessions together,” shared Melinda. “And then she got on Idol, and I cheered for her. And then I came the next season, and she cheered for me. That is my girl.”

Christian Couple Chilling 'Breathe' Duet

Listen to this beautiful duet of the song ‘Breathe’ from a talented Christian couple, Caleb + Kelsey.

‘This is the air I breathe, this is the air I breathe

Your holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread, this is my daily bread

Your very word spoken to me’

The couple is sitting in pews in a church singing this wonderful worship song together, and their vocals and harmonies sound incredible. The song ‘Breathe,’ made popular by Michael W. Smith, talks about needing God’s presence and grace in our lives, just like we need air in our lungs. Caleb + Kelsey’s song performance really brought out the message that the lyrics convey.

Caleb and Kelsey Grimm are the husband-and-wife duo known as Caleb + Kelsey. They are known for their original arrangements of modern worship songs, Christian hymns, and duets of some of the most popular love songs. They are from Nashville, TN, and have several #1 selling albums. And their fan base online just keeps on growing!

“I loved this song in the 90s, and I love it again, thanks to you guys! I love everything you both do!” shares one fan on YouTube after watching their ‘Breathe’ music video.

As for the history of the song ‘Breathe,’ it was written by Marie and John Barnett during a spontaneous moment of worship at their church.

"We had been singing ‘Isn’t He’ by John Wimber," Marie Barnett shared, "and my husband continued to play. I was so enthralled with Jesus at that moment, thinking I could never live, I could never even take a breath, if I didn’t have a word from Him every day. And I heard those words—‘This is the air I breathe. This is my daily bread’—and I started singing them." And before she knew it, the congregation had joined her in singing those words.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Caleb + Kelsey’s cover of ‘Breathe’ today!

“I thought number one would surely be me

I thought I could be what I wanted to be

I thought I could build on life's sinking sand

But now I can't even walk without you holding my hand”

What an incredible performance of this fantastic song! Chris Blue’s voice is wonderful, and the song is taken to even greater levels when the other singers on stage and in the choir join in.

“Absolutely amazing— praise Jesus for these young and talented men and women of God,” shares one person online after watching the music video.

“Wow, this gives me the shivers and brings me to tears. What an amazing voice,” writes another person on YouTube. “Keep singing for the Lord. God bless your ministry!”

The song 'I Can't Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)' was written in 1974 by famed gospel songwriter Pastor Colbert Croft and his wife of 49 years, Joyce. Danny Gokey And Mandisa Dazzling Duet Of 'Tell Somebody'

Check out this dazzling duet of the song ‘Tell Somebody’ by Danny Gokey and Mandisa.

‘Dear church, did you see me?

I was the sinner that you walked by on the street

Dear church, remember me?'Cause You have something so beautiful’

What an amazing song that is full of so much joy and truth! The performance was recorded live from Nashville, TN, back in 2020. The video was recently posted on Danny Gokey’s YouTube page to honor his late friend Mandisa.

“That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us Danny,” writes one person online. “May the Lord comfort you and all of those affected by her sudden departure to Heaven. She was a blessing and changed lives with her music. Rest in peace until we see you again Mandisa.”

Another person comments: “Thank you Danny for honoring Mandisa with this song. Mandisa is a gift that won't be forgotten in a hurry. I pray that she continues to rest well in the arms of the Father.”

When it comes to the background of the song ‘Tell Somebody’, Danny Gokey wrote it after being inspired by his wife’s testimony.

“The song is based on my wife's testimony and feels like a very timely message for society today,” Danny shares. “There are so many hurting people who may not know the reality of the hope found through Jesus. You could be just the lifeline that someone needs in a desperate time, so don't hesitate to tell somebody!”

There is so much healing and joy to be found in knowing Jesus, and when we tell others about this amazing love, we have the opportunity of sharing heaven with them. We hope that you found this beautiful performance of ‘Tell Somebody’ by Danny Gokey and Mandisa inspiring and encouraging to you today!

The Kingdom Here Touch Hearts With 'Amazing Grace' And 'Give Me Jesus' Covers

An unbelievably talented group of musicians, The Kingdom Here, turned in astounding and heartfelt covers of “Amazing Grace” and “Give Me Jesus.”

If there is music, there will be musicians performing covers. That is a tradition and practice that is not going away anytime soon. People love the original versions of songs, but sometimes it’s nice to hear different takes and interpretations of classic, beloved songs. Sometimes, you may even like another musician’s version of a timeless tune.

Every musician and band covers a handful of popular songs at one point or another in their career. There are a ton of versions of “Sound of Silence,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Hallelujah,” and “Unchained Melody.” It’s understandable why all those songs have been covered so heavily. They are classics that you can play, and everyone instantly knows them right from the opening notes.

However, one song has arguably been covered more than any other: “Amazing Grace.” It feels and sounds like there are thousands of covers of that beloved hymn. Some are better than others, of course.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Kingdom Here provides their take on “Amazing Grace” and “Give Me Jesus.” Their performances of those classic tunes are fantastic, but their version of “Amazing Grace” is particularly noteworthy. It’s likely one of the best covers of that song, in my opinion.

The bluegrass/country sound combined with the upbeat tempo makes this one you'll want to hear repeatedly.

“Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind, but now I see”

On their YouTube channel, The Kingdom Here describes themselves as a “traveling family worship band” who seek to use their musical abilities to worship Jesus and “help people see the goodness of God.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
