Notes from the Road - Train Travel Anyone?

Greetings Fellow Vacation Enthusiasts! Have you ever considered taking the train? In this country, Amtrak is our national carrier. But did you know, Amtrak operates (for the most part) on freight-owned tracks? Perhaps I will elaborate in a future post. For the time being, know this. The Amtrak route connecting Boston to Washington DC is known as the Northeast Corridor and Amtrak owns their own track on this route. This is also where you will find the Acela; that’s the fastest train in the United States. Because train travel is time-consuming I suggest hopping on the train and taking a ride along The Northeast Corridor. If you are looking for a unique travel experience, then perhaps this is the perfect trip for you!
