It’s graduation season and one speaker at New York University used the opportunity to call President Trump a “fascist” and labeled Israel an “apartheid” state in his speech on Monday.

Fox News reports Steven William Thrasher, an NYU alum and professor at Northwestern, first commended student activists for demonstrating against “the fascist in the White House” and then praised NYU’s Students for Justice in Palestine group for supporting the BDS movement “against the apartheid state government in Israel."

NYU President Andrew Hamilton said he found it “quite objectionable” that Thrasher used the graduation speech to express his personal viewpoints.
