‘Seventh Of June’ Anne Wilson Official Music Video

Grammy-nominated Christian music artist Anne Wilson is back with a moving and heartfelt song, singing the deeply personal track about loss, “Seventh of June.”

Music is an excellent way to express thoughts, feelings and emotions that can often be hard to articulate. Musicians have been singing about issues and topics that impact their lives and those of their listeners for years. Whether it’s a breakup, the loss of a dear friend or family member or some other tragedy, music can be very therapeutic.

In the official music video for “Seventh of June,” Anne Wilson opens up and sings about a loss that greatly impacted her life, that of her brother Jacob. The video begins with an old home movie playing on a television in what appears to be an abandoned house. Seconds later, Anne frantically wakes up. She has been experiencing a nightmare.

As the music begins playing, Anne drives along a country road as the sun rises over the horizon. As Anne belts out the heart-wrenching lyrics, viewers watch as she arrives at the Wilson Farm. She then walks up a hill and eventually comes to her brother’s gravestone.

The lyrics to the moving song make it perfectly clear that Anne, as anyone would be by the loss of a sibling, was deeply impacted by her brother’s passing. Like anyone dealing with sadness and grief, Anne has questions, which sadly, likely won’t be answered this side of heaven.

“Why’d you have to go
Why’d I have to stay
When’s it gonna get easier
To make it through the day”

Following the release of her new song, Anne posted a video on TikTok in which she talked about the meaning behind the song.

“I wanted to release a song that spoke to what I have walked through the last six years now of life without my brother,” Anne said.

She also mentioned what she hopes is accomplished with her touching tune.

“I wrote it for my brother and also for my family, but also wanted to invite you guys into it as well,” she said. “It’s a song that I hope brings you a lot of joy and comfort, as I’ve heard it already has for some of you all. And I pray that it continues to.”

Psalm 23:4 “Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.”

Jesus Loves Me’ Hymn Medley With Children’s Choir

A woman and dozens of children beautifully performed a medley of recognizable and beloved tunes.

There are several classic and iconic songs of worship and praise and many likely know those lyrics by heart. Anyone who has attended a church service knows “Amazing Grace” verbatim. It has been performed thousands of times by hundreds of artists. To this day, it remains a favorite of many. “Victory in Jesus,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness” are just a few of the many other widely recognized church hymns.

Other favorite songs of worship and praise include “Jesus Loves Me,” “Jesus Loves Even Me” and “And Can it Be, That I Should Gain?” In a video posted on YouTube, Rosemary Siemens leads dozens of children in a unique mashup of these three songs about Christ’s unbelievable and unfailing love and grace.

The 5-and-a-half-minute clip begins with Rosemary sitting at and playing the piano while she sings the opening words to “Jesus Loves Me.”

Seconds after the song begins, one young lady appears on screen and walks up to Rosemary, joining her at the piano. Then another child, a young man, walks into the frame and finds a place around the large instrument. A seemingly endless lineup of children finds their way into the room and soon Rosemary is surrounded by youngsters.

Around the 50-second mark, the children join Rosemary by singing the memorable and lovely chorus to “Jesus Loves Me.” Then, after completing the chorus, Rosemary and the children head outside, where they are met by dozens of other children standing in a field,  also singing “Jesus Loves Me.”

Then, at about the halfway point of the clip, Rosemary and the children change things up. They go right into “Jesus Loves Even Me” without missing a beat.

Rosemary and the children end the clip by singing a few lines from the iconic “And Can it Be, That I Should Gain?” hymn.

In addition to displaying her beautiful voice and talent on the piano, Rosemary also shows what she can do on the violin. Rosemary, much like the children she performed with, has a ton of musical ability and talent.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

Bluegrass Family Band Sings ‘How Firm A Foundation’

A group of talented musicians performed a beloved hymn about the Lord’s guidance, strength and protection.

Life can be a burdensome experience, filled with trying and tragic circumstances. Troubles will inevitably reach everyone at one time or another. Even worse, those hurdles and obstacles can spring up through no fault of our own. However, there is one who has promised to never leave or forsake us in our time of need.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Petersens, “an American roots music band based out of Branson, Missouri, sing and perform the hymn “How Firm a Foundation.” This beautiful and moving song reiterates the Lord’s unending love and commitment to His followers, especially during great times of distress and worry. He will be a calming presence, a shelter from the storm.

The song’s opening verse begins by mentioning Christ is life’s firm foundation, the solid rock. That same verse also points out how God's Word states this promise that His strength is more than enough to get us through any and every situation that may come our way.

The lyrics in the second verse are essentially Isaiah 41:10, which states that we have no reason to be afraid. God will remain by our side, helping and strengthening us. With His righteous right hand, He will uphold us.

As clear as the first two verses are about God’s protection during life’s many storms, the song’s fourth verse really brings home the message. If there was still any confusion as to what the proceeding verses were trying to convey about God, the fourth verse is 100% crystal clear.

“When through fiery trials your pathway will lie
My grace all-sufficient will be your supply
The flame will not hurt you, I only design
Your dross to consume, and your gold to refine”

Yes, there will be times when the outcome of situations will appear murky, at best. Danger and trouble may lie ahead, but as God’s Word and the beautiful hymn state, His grace and strength are sufficient. He will see you through!

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”

‘The Lord’s Prayer It’s Yours’ Matt Maher And TAYA Official Music Video

Two gifted Christian musicians – Matt Maher and TAYA - turned the Lord’s Prayer into a beautiful and catchy song.

God’s Word is essentially the instruction manual for life. The Bible contains lessons and words of wisdom for any situation or circumstance one may face over the course of a lifetime. The verses, chapters and books found in the Bible are still as useful and relevant today as ever.

The Bible has several passages and pieces of Scripture that are recited and memorized by many. John 3:16, Philippians 4:13 and 1 Corinthians chapter 13 are just a few of the verses and chapters that fit neatly into that category.

Another of those often-quoted passages of Scripture includes Jesus’ instructions to his disciples on how and what to pray for in the book of Matthew. Commonly, this passage is referred to as the Lord’s Prayer.

In the official video for the song “The Lord’s Prayer (It’s Yours),” Matt and Taya beautifully sing those instructions and that prayer from Jesus while recording the tune in a studio. The song's verses and chorus ingeniously incorporate Christ's instructions to His 12 disciples in the New Testament book.

“Give us this day, our daily bread, forgive us, forgive us
As we forgive the ones who sinned against us, forgive them
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us
From the evil one”

What a simple but effective idea for a song. The song’s lyrics and the message contained in those words are one that can easily be applied to all. Everyone can be reminded of Christ’s comments on the proper way to talk to and communicate with God. No matter how well one is familiar with the Lord’s Prayer, hearing the words of Christ repeated can only benefit those who hear them.

Matthew 6:7-8 “In praying don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore, don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask them.”

‘My America’ Danny Gokey Official Music Video

One gifted Christian musician Danny Gokey performed a beautiful song about the hope, wonder and goodness still offered by the United States of America.

In America, one can pick absolutely any issue, and it’s bound to come with people who are ardently in favor of it. On the other hand, that same topic will most certainly have individuals who are steadfastly against it, refusing to budge an inch. The USA, as national 24-hour news channels so often like to portray, is a divided place where every single issue is polarized and divisive.

However, Danny Gokey, in his song “My America” sings that despite the deep partisan divides and some of the ups and downs the country has experienced in its nearly 250-year existence, America is a force for good in the world. It’s a song of hope, optimism and the belief that America can overcome anything in its way.

In the song’s opening verse, Danny states his belief that the United States, even though some feel otherwise, is worth the fight. He’s not ready to give up on the United States of America.

“I hear them say our country’s too far gone
Even claim, our fathers got it wrong
But I won’t give up on us and I’ll take a stand
Cause we can overcome, this is not the end”

Near the tune's conclusion, Danny mentions the USA’s most recognizable symbol of hope and freedom: The Statue of Liberty. He points out how that statue in New York City is, has and always will remain a symbol of hope to the immigrant and refugee seeking to escape hardship and oppression.

The United States of America is not a perfect place. No country and people are without their faults. However, America is still a place where people have the right to live their lives as they see fit. Through hard work and talent, someone can alter the entire trajectory of their lives in the United States of America.

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

The Voice Winner Todd Tilghman Pens 'Blood, Sweat Tears' For His Mom

The Voice winner Todd Tilghman pen’s ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ for his mom. Often, we lay awake at night, worrying if we’ve done enough for our children.

When that moment of anxiety washes over us, we turn to Christ and ask him to help us with our children. It doesn’t matter if they’re two, 12, or 22. We are always asking the Lord to guide and protect them.

Todd Tilghman managed to capture his mother’s prayers in a song that will absolutely bless your heart. He said he penned the words after he thought about how he made it to where he is today as a godly man, father, and singer.

“‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ is a song about all the things that got me where I am today, not the least of which is my mama’s prayers,” Tilghman said. “Everything I am and everything I have is because of the blood of Jesus, the sweat of my own brow, and my mama’s tears.”

On a Facebook post, he shared about the song dedicated to his mama and posted a photo of her and their family. Mom is the rock of the family. We all say she’s not outwardly emotional, but we’ve all heard her remind us that she’s praying for us, and talk about God’s plan for us through tears. Blood, Sweat & Tears is for you, mom,” he wrote

What I love the most about this heartfelt song is that it truly captures the essence of a mother’s heart and how much we rely on the Lord for strength, protection, and guidance as we train our children into adulthood. And even then, our prayers never cease. This is the unconditional love of a mother’s heart who depends on Jesus every step of the way.

Take a listen to Todd’s song and share it with your mother. Be sure to tell her ‘thank you.’

"Pay close attention, my child, to your father's wise words, and never forget your mother's instructions. For their insight will bring you success, adorning you with grace-filled thoughts and giving you reins to guide your decisions,” Proverbs 1:8-9

“Never Walk Alone” Hope Darst Official Lyric Video

Rest assured in His loving presence as you listen and watch this official lyric video of “Never Walk Alone” by Hope Darst.

Fittingly, the video focuses significantly on the artist’s feet, a visual reminder that He is with us in every step we take. Hope walks barefoot along mown pathways, narrow and wide, carved within tall fields of golden grasses.

She sometimes dangles her hand, allowing her fingers to touch the various textures of the waist-high stalks. At other times, she holds a patchwork quilt around her shoulders. Her white fingernails and dress provide the perfect compliment to her dark hair and the flaxen field.

And every perfect image seems to provide a metaphor to accompany the words of her song—each listener is able to decide exactly what that is when examined next to their own experiences.

The video is beautiful, but the images work in tandem to Hope’s message.

Here are a few lines from “Never Walk Alone”:

I'm a witness to Your faithfulness
In every storm, in every step
Looking back never once did You let me go

For believers, the message is universal, constant, and undeniable. Check out some of the comments. Many identify with the song, having experienced the company of Jesus in their trials and sorrows. One relays an experience of physical healing after a debilitating accident.

One person shares a salvation experience, having turned from the Muslim faith to Christianity after Jesus appeared to him. Many others simply thank Hope for her words that don’t merely offer hope, but rather take-it-to-the-bank assurances.

“Never Walk Alone” is a reminder to believers, but perhaps more importantly, it is a declaration and the most helpful hack around for those that do not know Him!

Ms. Darst is a 42-year-old Nashville-based wife and mom to two daughters. She is also a Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader.  Hope’s 2020 debut album includes two singles that earned her three GMA Dove Award nominations: “Promise Keeper” and “Peace Be Still.”

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”’ Hebrews 13:5

Phil Wickham Releases A New Single, ‘The Jesus Way’

The lyrics are an incredible reminder of what Jesus stands for and how we are called to honor the Lord, “I follow Jesus, I follow Jesus. He wore my sin, I'll gladly wear His name. He is the treasure, He is the answer Oh, I choose the Jesus way.”

The song embodies the Word and the instructions we’re given when we surrender our lives to Christ. For example, if someone curses you, bless them. If someone hates you,  love them. If someone is walking through a dark time, we walk and share our light. This is most definitely the way of Jesus. I love how Phil managed to capture what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus.

In the comments on YouTube, Phil addressed his fans about the song. He wrote, “Hey everyone! In 20 years of writing songs, I’ve never had a song personally impact me the way that “The Jesus Way” has, and I believe will continue to for the rest of my life.

He added, “I have no idea what God has planned for this song, but I am excited to watch His story as it unfolds. I hope and pray that this song turns hearts and eyes to Jesus as it has turned mine.”

Phil released the song less than two weeks ago, and it’s already going viral with more than 200,000 views and hundreds of comments. Fans from all over chimed in to tell Phil just how much they love his powerful song.

One woman is pregnant and as she eagerly anticipates the arrival of her baby, she left a comment for Phil. She wrote, “My baby gets active and worships with me every single time I play this. I’m going to play this on repeat in my delivery room, as I could not think of a better time to worship and praise God.”

Another viewer was moved by how much Christ loves us. He commented, “I don’t think I’ve ever cried to a song so easily before. This is so beautiful. The purity and beauty of this song combined with all those people worshipping our God.  It brought me to tears.  I pray this spreads across the nations and brings even more people to salvation and to Jesus.

We couldn’t agree more. The message and the lyrics of this song are powerful. I pray this blessed your day. Share it with someone else who needs to hear this song.

‘Spirit And The Bride’ Live Worship Performance At The Garden Tomb

A collection of talented musicians performs a track about how Christ can and will meet all the needs of those who earnestly seek and search for Him.

The world is full of hurt, struggling and fallen people. Sin, since it entered the world with a bite of forbidden fruit, has gone on to wreak havoc on our society. War, sickness and death are just a few of the consequences of the disobedience in the garden all those years ago.

However, thankfully, God has made a way. Due to the excruciating and wholly undeserved death of his son Jesus Christ on the cross, sinners can now enjoy everlasting life with Him. But, like any gift, Christ’s blood, spilled on the cross, must be accepted before it can be of any use.

In a video posted on YouTube, Joshua Aaron and a group of talented musicians sing “Spirit and the Bride.” The tune is about Christ being the answer to all our needs and worries. He is the beginning and the end, all we could ever need. He provides those thirsty and who seek Him, those who call out His name, with water that will never leave them thirsty again.

“And let the one who is thirsty come
Behold! The Alpha and Omega
Beginning and the end
In Him we will never, never thirst again”

In the video, the musicians play at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem in front of dozens of people who take in the dazzling performance. At various times throughout the clip, two women, in white dresses, elegantly dance about as the band performs.

What a beautiful song about the power, majesty and love of Christ!

Revelation 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ He who hears, let him say, ‘Come!’ He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.”

'Miracle in Me' Red Rocks Worship Live Performance

Listen to this incredible live performance of the worship song ‘Miracle In Me’ by Red Rocks Worship.

“Jesus, my healing, I will reach for Your hem, my great physician, death is not how it ends
The work was finished at calvary, Your body broken so mine is complete
My testimony of faith will be, because of Christ there’s a miracle in me
Because of Christ there’s a miracle in me”

What a powerful song performed by such talented artists. And it is amazing to see Red Rocks Worship lead that entire room in such a moving moment of worship.

“Now, come on, you guys. If He said it, He means it,” says the lead vocalist to everyone in the room halfway through the worship song. “If He said it 2,000 years ago, it is finished. And He meant it with all of His heart. Which means that you cannot remove yourself from His grace. And that means you cannot remove yourself from His love. It was purchased with His blood, and it was sealed with His resurrection. Come on, let’s sing this out. There’s power in the cross! Let’s go!”

Many people online were also moved by the song ‘Miracle In Me’ by Red Rocks Worship.

“Phenomenal! Red Rocks Worship, you never ever disappoint! Praise the Lord!” writes one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Thank you, Jesus. There is a miracle in me, and I am healed. Thank you for this song, it is a blessing,” comments another person online.

Red Rocks Worship is comprised of worship leaders and songwriters who have a passion to bring their love of Jesus to people through music. The heartbeat behind their music is to cultivate communities of believers that pursue God’s presence.

'Live Up To Your Name' Danny Gokey, Mariah Bernard Legacy Worship

Listen to this beautiful worship song titled ‘Live Up To Your Name’ by Danny Gokey and featuring Mariah Bernard and Legacy Worship.

“There are records of Your goodness, spread across the earth, endless stories of the wonders
Of the Wonder Worker, You are worthy of Your fame, testimonies from the broken
Show You still heal wounds, and we named You the Way Maker
Cause You made a way through, You are worthy of Your fame”

What a powerful worship song! And the message within the song reminds us that God’s different names can directly affect our faith simply by knowing them. He is known as Abba, Yahweh, Father, Jireh, Healer, Protector, Redeemer, Promise Keeper, Great I Am, as well as many other names. And these names are reminders of who He is and give us new ways to praise His name.

Danny Gokey shared some of his thoughts on the song ‘Live Up To Your Name’ and its place in modern worship music.

“‘Live Up to Your Name’ is a unique title for the song, because it's not a typical worship statement. A typical worship statement is we love You, we adore You, and there's no one like You. We are starting a case in this song, and there are multiple examples of how we say it in the song, that there are records of Your goodness,” he said. “With endless stories of the wonders of the Wonder Worker, God has fame that has lasted throughout the generations.”

Many people online have shared how this worship song has impacted them

“I love your music, it soothes my soul and gives me peace,” comments one person online after watching the music video.

“I'll be sharing this with those who need this reminder today!” writes another person on YouTube.

May this worship recording of ‘Live Up To Your Name’ encourage you today and help you reflect on all the ways that God has lived up to His name in your life.

Psalm 9:10
“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.”

‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’ The Critter Family Bluegrass Band

A family of gifted musicians showed off their skills during a performance of a classic hymn.

Death has impacted and will continue to touch our lives in one form or another. Unfortunately, death is a fact of life. It's something that everyone will experience. However, because of God’s love, grace and mercy, death does not have to be the end.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Critter Family Bluegrass Band plays “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.” The group plays before a fairly full church in Malling, Denmark.

The hymn is a somber, but somewhat uplifting song about death, the loss of a loved one and what waits for some. The opening verse mentions that the songwriter has just experienced the loss of a dearly loved mother. Of course, like any person, the songwriter is broken up about her death.

But the song’s chorus provides hope amid all the sadness and grief. Yes, the loss of a loved one, especially someone as close as a parent, will hurt, but there is something better waiting. For those believers, who accepted Christ as their savior, heaven awaits them.

“Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord, by and by
There’s a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord, in the sky”

While the promise of heaven and being reunited with those loved ones is comforting, death and loss still hurt. The song goes on to detail how much the loss of the mother stings. The songwriter mentions that while they are attempting to put on a brave face, the sorrow and sadness are still present.

This song perfectly captures the death of someone who accepted Christ and the hurt their death causes to those still on earth.

Near the end of the clip, at approximately the 5:50-minute mark, the musicians get the entire congregation involved. They help sing the beautiful chorus.

Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.”
