'What A Friend We Have In Jesus' The Collingsworth Family

In a harmony of voices, the Collingsworth family sing, ‘What A Friend We Have In Jesus.’ You don’t want to miss this precious performance. Gathered around the piano in their home, the family’s faces shine bright with their love of Christ.

If you haven’t heard of the Collingsworth family, you are in for a real treat. Husband and wife, Phil and Kim began performing at a church camp in 1986. Over the years, their of love worship expanded into full time ministry as they expanded their family. In early 2,000 Kim and Phil decided to go on tour full time.

Today, the Collingsworth family includes, Brooklyn Rose, Courtney Noel, Phillip Jr., and Olivia Diane. They praise God for expanding their ministry and believe God answered their prayers. On their website they wrote, “Each Tuesday evening, they hold a private prayer meeting in their home for the specific purpose of praying for the salvation of their children and the expansion of their ministry.” They added, “Phil & Kim’s entire purpose is to give the talent God has loaned them back to their Creator as a sacrifice of praise.”

The performance in this video reflects the long hours of dedicated practice and their love of Christ. Each family member sings in several different octaves and keys. Together they create a harmonious, heavenly sound as they sing:

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

May God continue to use the Collingsworth family to pour praise and worship into the lives of others as they bear witness to the wonderful friend we have in Christ. We hope you enjoyed this uplifting performance.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you,” John 15:12-15.

'Pieces' by Husband and Wife Duo Caleb Kelsey

Listen to this amazing cover by husband and wife duo Caleb and Kelsey of the worship song ‘Pieces’ from Bethel Music.

“Unreserved, unrestrained, Your love is wild, Your love is wild for me, it isn't shy, it's unashamed
Your love is proud to be seen with me, You don't give Your heart in pieces, You don't hide
Yourself to tease us, uncontrolled, uncontained, Your love is a fire burning bright for me
It's not just a spark, it's not just a flame, Your love is a light, that all the world will see”

What an incredible song and this cover from Caleb + Kelsey is just wonderful! Their harmonies are beautiful, and they share the message of this song in such a lovely way.

“Beautifully done! Powerful!” one person writes online after watching the music video.

“Your content is always so authentic and genuine,” another person shares on Caleb + Kelsey’s YouTube page.

The song ‘Pieces’ from Bethel Music is an amazing description of God’s love for us. The lyrics are a great reminder that our Heavenly Father loves us without limit. Even when we sin and mess up, he simply and purely loves us. He never stops pursuing us.

Bluegrass Family Band Performs 'Amazing Grace'

Check out this talented bluegrass family band perform their rendition of the song ‘Amazing Grace.’

“Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost
But now I'm found, was blind but now I see, t'was grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved, how precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed”

This music video of ‘Amazing Grace’ features The Brandenberger Family and their wonderful Bluegrass harmonies.

“Here is one of the most popular hymns ever written,” The Brandenberger Family writes in the caption of their YouTube video. “We hope you enjoy Amazing Grace in our series of gospel music videos.…and sing along!”

The family band is singing and playing their instruments outside a church, and their rendition of this classic hymn touched the hearts of many people online.

“Words fail me. Simply Amazing,” one person writes online after watching the video. “My favorite rendition of this great old hymn.”

“This was so good! Awesome harmonies and musicianship!” another person comments on YouTube.

There is a reason the hymn 'Amazing Grace' remains a favorite hymn for so many people. The powerful lyrics remind us that because of Jesus, none of us are ever lost because God is with us always.

The author of this hymn was John Newton, and he wrote this song after safely landing in Donegal, Ireland after being caught in a ferocious storm at sea. This safe arrival would mark the start of his return to Christianity.

Up until the point of coming to Ireland, John Newton was involved in the Slave Trade. In 1748, Newton was traveling from Africa to Liverpool and got caught up in an awful storm. The weather conditions were so severe that Newton called out to God asking for mercy.

The ship safely reached Ireland, and that event marked the beginning of John Newton’s spiritual conversion. He started to read the Bible, got out of the Slave Trade, became an Anglican Priest, and ended up writing many hymns, including ‘Amazing Grace.’

We hope that you enjoyed listening to The Brandenberger Family’s rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ today.

Angelic Cover Of ‘Blessings’ By Laura Story

One young woman delivers a beautiful performance of a song about blessings, trials and God’s unending and magnificent love.

In life, everyone will encounter hardship and trying circumstances. At one time or another, it will happen to all people. Problems and issues have a way of reaching everyone. Of course, no one enjoys going through difficulties. They make life unpleasant and uncomfortable. But what if those trials, hardships and painful experiences were all part of God’s plan?

In a video posted on YouTube, Hannah Elizabeth covers the song “Blessings,” a tune originally performed by Laura Story. The song works from the idea that difficulties and problems have a distinct purpose. God may be using them for His perfect plan and will.

The song’s opening verse mentions that everyone prays and asks the Lord for the good things in life. We ask Him for peace, safety and prosperity. Most, if not all, Christians will also ask God to remove any and all struggles and burdens from our lives.

However, the lyrics in the chorus ask listeners to consider the possibility that God is working to bring about something better and greater with those pains and heartaches.

“’Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You’re near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise”

Near the song's conclusion, the singer reminds listeners of what is yet to come. While time on Earth may be punishing, at times, filled with all sorts of painful circumstances, this is not our eternal home. There is something much better that awaits those who belong to Christ.

James 1:2-4 “Let it be all joy to you, my brothers when you undergo tests of every sort; because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope; but let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.”

'If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again' Jean Shepard Live Performance

Check out this live performance of Jean Shepard singing the song ‘If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again.’

“How sweet and happy seem those days of which I dream, when memory recalls
Them now and then and with what rapture sweet my weary heart would beat
If I could hear my mother pray again, if I could only hear my mother pray again
If I could only hear her tender voice as then, how happy I would be”

This video was recorded in the summer of 2011, just after Jean Shepard was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

“Jean has always been one of my favorite singers. Such a beautiful sweet voice, not forced or straining, just from her heart,” one person comments on YouTube after watching the video.

“Wow, country music at its best,” another person writes online.

Jean Shepard had a music career that spanned more than six decades, and she had released 73 singles to the country charts during that time. Jean was also part of the Grand Ole Opry cast for 60 consecutive years, making hers the longest tenure of any female member.

“I had a hard life, but it was a good life. I had a wonderful mother and daddy. I chopped corn and I picked cotton. And it didn’t hurt me a bit,” Jean shared when reflecting on her life. “But every Saturday night, we’d take an hour off and turn on an old radio and listen to the Grand Ole Opry. That’s how I came about country music – and loved the sounds that came out of that radio.”

Jean did a wonderful job with this performance of ‘If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again,’ which was written by John Whitfield "Whit" Vaughan as a tribute to his own mother, Clara Beady Burgess-Vaughan. We hope you enjoyed listening to her rendition today!

“Any More” CAIN Official Music Video

You’ll be left wanting more after watching CAIN’s official music video for their latest song, “Any More.” The song is as uplifting and encouraging in nature as their costumes and the video is colorful and sunny! We can always use a lotta more of that!

Meet Taylor Cain Matz, Madison Cain Johnson, and Logan Cain; the trio are 33, 32, and 30, respectively. We first see baby brother Logan as he opens the song. He wears a groovy vest, a white t-shirt, and jeans, and his denim is embellished with crocheted patches in hot pink, light and bright oranges, light pink, turquoise, shades of blue, and lime green!

With a beautiful blue sky filled with happy, fluffy clouds behind Logan, he sings the first verse. The cheery mood is most appropriate, because this song is all about the unending, never-failing love of God for his children! There isn’t a mistake that we’ve made that keeps Him from loving us!

Here are four lines from the chorus:

I couldn’t love you any more
Than I do right now
There’s nowhere I wouldn’t go
To get to you my child

As the group sings the chorus for the first time, we see all three CAIN kids; they are PKs, by the way. Dad is a pastor, and their mother homeschooled the siblings. Raised in the small town of  Hartselle, Alabama, all three now live in Nashville. They all attended Troy University, and have always been super close. And not only do Madison, Logan, and Taylor get along harmoniously, they harmonize beautifully!

Madison is initially on the left with the belted denim jumpsuit, and Taylor wears a cowgirl hat with her vest, jeans, and boots. They, too, are covered in crochet squares, but squares they are not!

Madison, Logan, and Taylor each play a guitar during the video, and they are joined by three musicians behind them. They play and sing from an emerald green field as 70’s style psychedelic backdrops and cartoon suns flash and fill the frame. Flowers float across the screen and wrap themselves around the group’s microphone stands. The video is pure happiness!

From the font at the video’s opening to the flowers at the end, CAIN is channeling the 1970’s. It’s a cool vibe, but unlike the decade of disco and bell-bottoms, CAIN’s song assures us that God’s love is present in every time and all the time!

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12

Colton Dixon Performs 'My Light' On Daytime Talk Show

Colton Dixon performs ‘My Light’ on the daytime talk show for Kelly Clarkson. Let me tell you, this is one performance you don’t want to miss. His dreamy voice gives Backstreet Boys vibes while his lyrics send us to our knees in worship of Jesus Christ.

Colton has a way of taking today’s struggles and trials and reminding us of God’s more than 2,000-year-old promises. When we are lost, lonely, and afraid, God promises to be our light. When our strength fails, when our faith wavers, God promises to be our foundational stepping stone and a light unto our path. During these hard times, we are reminded all we need is God.

Colton’s journey to becoming a Christain music artist began with hope and a prayer when he debuted on American Idol. From the moment he took the stage, he set himself apart by stating he wanted to be a Christian artist. However, when Colton tried out for season 11, it wasn’t his idea. He was actually at the audition to support his sister Schyler in her dreams of becoming a singer. The judges encouraged him to try out. He and his sister were both given golden tickets.

After his much too soon departure on season 11 of the show, he was given the opportunity to record his own music. From there, he rose to fame because of his smooth vocals and his relatable lyrics. He received two Dove awards and has millions of fans around the world because of his honesty, integrity, and passion for bringing Christ to others. We hope you enjoy his performance as much as we did.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?” The Good News: If you believe in God, there's nothing to be afraid of. God gives you strength,” Psalm 27:1

'The Name Of Jesus' Chris Tomlin Lyric Video

The name of Jesus is the most potent name there is. Not in the name itself but because of who Jesus Christ is. When we call on the name of Jesus, we call on our redeemer, savior, and King of kings. If you need a reminder of Christ's power, listen to ‘The Name Of Jesus’ performed by Chris Tomlin in this lyric video and call on the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus
There is life and healing
Chains are broken in Your name
Every knee will bow down and our hearts will cry out
Songs of freedom in Your name, oh, in Your name

Chris Tomlin released this song on June 14 and it is already impacting the lives of those who listen with over 14,000 views and hundreds of comments. One viewer posted he was grateful for Chris Tomlin’s timing in the release of the video. He said, “I'm transitioning from listening to secular to Christian music only, thank you God, and Chris Tomlin for releasing these songs at such a pivotal phase in my life!” We couldn’t agree more. Keeping our focus on Christ helps us strengthen our faith in Christ.

Another viewer posted that she had been taught to always pray in the name of Jesus. She wrote, “Ever since I was a little girl, I was taught to pray in the name of Jesus! I have to say that he has been there throughout my life. Thank you so much for this beautiful song!”

Thank God for the gift he gave to Christ Tomlin the realm of worship music. There’s nothing that heals our souls more than taking a moment to forget the world and focus on our savior who is our refuge in times of trouble.

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father,” Philippians 2:9-11

Fruit of the Spirit

God has given us fruit to share and this is an original song shared with the body of Christ. Be Blessed

Violinist Performs 'King Of Kings' By Hillsong Worship

The darkness in our world has been incredibly apparent lately. It seems no matter where we turn, we find heartache and despair. But we can thank God for the gift of worship. Christian music has often been a beacon of light and this video shines through the darkness when a violinist performs ‘King Of Kings’ by Hillsong Worship. It is the perfect song to remind us God is Lord over all. There may be times when all hope seems lost, but during these trying times, we can trust God’s plan for this world and for each of us.

Daniel Jang is a Taiwanese-American with New Jersey roots. His talent with the violin has gained 1.5 million fans because of his incredible ability to make the violin sin. Today’s performance is no different. His rendition of King of Kings gives the song a whole new feel and it is absolutely incredible. It’s as if the words are coming from every note he hits on the violin.

Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings

I just love hearing this song stripped down and basic. You can see and hear the passion Daniel has for the Lord. This song is a perfect way to express our love and astonishment of our heavenly father who loves us so much. We are blessed to have a King who is above all kings who bends his heart towards the earth and loves us no matter who we are, nor does he care about our imperfections. Even in Christ’s suffering, God already had plans to redeem his creation and all of his children.

This violin rendition truly makes every single note of this precious worship song more powerful. Praise God for blessing this young man with the ability to make beautiful music that drawers us deeper into God’s presence.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” Isaiah 41:10.

The Gaither Vocal Band Sings ‘Old Rugged Cross’

A group of gifted vocalists gave a moving, acoustic performance of a classic and beloved hymn, “Old Rugged Cross.”

John 3:16 mentions that God sent his one and only Son into the world so that whoever believes in Him may not perish but have everlasting life. Christ, who committed no sin and was perfect in every way, suffered a horrible and agonizing death on the cross. The cross symbolizes Christ’s love, death, sacrifice and the new life offered in Jesus Christ.

In a video posted on YouTube, the Gaither Vocal Band performed a song, the hymn “Old Rugged Cross.” The iconic hymn beautifully articulates the meaning, sacrifice and suffering that the cross has come to symbolize to Christians.

Accompanied only by an acoustic guitar, the five gentlemen turn in a stunning cover of the classic hymn. It’s an emotional and moving rendition that emphasizes the words and the powerful meaning of the lyrics.

“So, I’ll cherish the old rugged cross (rugged cross)
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown”

It’s no wonder that the “Old Rugged Cross” continues to be such a cherished and beloved piece of music by Christians. Like nearly every other hymn, the lyrics say so much but in a simple, sweet and straightforward way.

It’s hard to listen to the words of the “Old Rugged Cross” and not react as one thinks back on Christ’s brutal and undeserving death.

Without Christ’s willing sacrifice all those years ago and the blood He shed upon that tree, no one would have an opportunity at everlasting life. All would have been lost. But in His death, He showed us love, mercy and grace. He paid our debt, which we can never ever repay.

1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the world of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.”

Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)’ Living Room Worship Cover

One young woman gave a chilling and stunning rendition of the most popular and beloved hymn of all time, “Amazing Grace.”

Without God’s love, mercy and grace, the world would be lost, condemned to spend eternity in hell. But God had pity on a fallen, depraved and sin-filled people. He sent His only Son to die in our place, being the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind.

Because of the Lord's love and grace, people no longer must live in the mire and muck of their sin-filled pasts. God can and will forgive people of those sins and free them from shame.

People can live a life centered on God, focused on His will and calling for them. And once their days are over and their time on earth is through, they can look toward everlasting life with Him in heaven. All of which is possible only because of God’s amazing grace.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Christian musician Holly Halliwell sings about God’s immense, unending love and His magnificent and wondrous gift of grace. Her cover of the timeless classic, “Amazing Grace,” is beautiful and moving.

“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I’m found
Was blind, but now I see”

“Amazing Grace” is a track that has been sung thousands of times and continues to be performed by musicians. No matter how often one hears it, “Amazing Grace” is a song that never gets old.

The tune has a powerful and moving message filled with truth. It’s one about God's glorious and loving work, reaching out to save the worst of the worst. Without grace, no one would have a chance. All would be lost.

Praise God for his amazing grace!

Ephesians 2:8-9 “Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God: not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself.”

'Miracle' Riley Clemmons Official Music Video

Are you in need of some faith today that God can work in beautiful ways? Check out 'Miracle' by Riley Clemmons official music video.

Riley plays tenderly at a piano in an old historic home. She sings sweet melodies about the Lord at work in her own personal journey. She has a beautiful string quartet in the background and starts the chorus as she sings out her heart that she believed miracles had to be something grand, however her miracle really is the person right in front of her. As we ponder all of the people that this could be, we think about the loved ones in our own lives. We remember our spouses, children, parents, friends, and neighbors. God is working every day in relationships; He is doing miraculous things among us and so often we can forget this is the case. As we listen to this beautiful song, may it encourage us that the Lord is working behind the scenes. He is on the move. We may not call something a miracle but He truly is working miracles every day in our lives.

Riley is dressed in antique style clothing in front of the beautiful historic home singing this song. We get the idea from the choice of contrast from this time period to today that the Lord was working then and still is working today. It is very creative and an interesting setting for this song. Everything was seemingly simpler during this time period, but it did not mean that God was not working in equally incredible ways. Maybe you feel like he is not working in miraculous ways in your life? Take some time to reflect during this video on how he is moving around you in the mundane.

“He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.” Deuteronomy 10:21

'We Will Stand' Natalie Grant With Tauren Wells, Jekalyn Carr CAIN

In a time of great division and misunderstanding, the church needs a reminder that we are one in Christ Jesus. Check out this video, 'We Will Stand' by Natalie Grant with Tauren Wells, Jekalyn Carr & CAIN.

The church has been through so much. We have been in a place of great hurt and separation. Things like racial issues, politics, and Covid have increased our divisions and allowed a foothold for the enemy to work among us. Natalie Grant has taken on a throwback song, “We Will Stand” originally by Russ Taff in 1983. Grant (along with other modern artists) brings a fresh take on this song as a reminder that we are on the same team when we are in Jesus. We can stand together because Christ is our firm foundation.

This song is not saying that we stand on worldly things or on anything other than the Word of God, however, it is challenging all believers to join together and remember the core issues of the faith. It is a reminder that the enemy loves to distract from the main mission that Jesus has called us to Him as one.

The chorus sings out:

“You're my brother, you're my sister
So take me by the hand
Together we will work until He comes
There's no foe that can defeat us
When we're walking side by side
As long as there is love
We will stand”

Those who believe in Jesus are family. We are adopted as His children and we are coheirs with Christ. We can waste a lot of time arguing over lesser things like carpet colors or musical genres, or we can focus on the great commission of making disciples of all nations and sharing the hope of Jesus. May this beautiful song with these powerful lyrics be an inspiration to us today.

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

Impressive Acoustic Worship Performance Of ‘O Praise The Name (Anastasis)’

A talented group of vocalists gave a beautiful acoustic performance of “O Praise the Name (Anastasis),” a song about Christ’s death, resurrection and victory over sin and death.

Christ’s excruciating and wholly undeserving death on the cross changed the entire trajectory of the world. Because of His death and resurrection, anyone has an opportunity at everlasting life. Without Him willingly going to the cross, shedding His blood for mankind, no one had a chance. All were destined for damnation, but Christ changed it all!

While backed up by a handful of talented singers, Benjamin William Hastings turned in a stunning and heartfelt cover of “O Praise the Name (Anastasis).” The moving song is one of praise and worship, thanking Jesus Christ for His sacrifice all those years ago.

The song’s opening verses paint a vivid picture of the pain Christ experienced that day as he was nailed to the cross. It was there on Calvary where Christ died and took our place.

“I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet
My Savior on that cursed tree”

But He did not stay in that tomb where His body was placed. He rose again, winning victory over sin and death forever.

Praise God!

The remaining portion of the song is one of praise, and rightfully so, for what He did for you, me and everyone.

The song’s beautiful chorus is short and sweet but very effective. The musicians state Christ is worthy of praise forever for His love and sacrifice that day. For the rest of their time on Earth, they will praise the holy, wonderful and life-changing name of Jesus Christ, the musicians sing.

Christ alone is worthy of all glory and honor.

John 11:25-26 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am myself that day and that life; he who has faith in me will have life even if he is dead; and no one who is living and has faith in me will ever see death. Is this your faith?’”
