Welcome to another glorious October Friday. Have you been apple picking or gone to the pumpkin patch yet? Hopefully so. I am headed to pick apples in upstate New York this weekend and cannot wait. The air is getting crisp and the colors are starting to show up in the trees here. I’m trying soak up every gorgeous day we get before the month ends and the holidays are upon us. 

This week I have another sausage-based dish. A simple fall pasta with hearty greens and savory sausage that comes together in about thirty minutes and is a perfect comforting fall weeknight meal. I hope you make it and enjoy the richness the sausage and Parmesan provide with the hearty kale greens. 

Then for dessert, something pretty simple as well: chocolate and caramel covered crackers. Sweet and salty with a snappy crunch. They’re super addicting and will disappear the first night you make them.
