Bethel Music singer and worship leader Bethany Wohrle opens up about walking through unimaginable grief after the unexpected death of her 18-month-old niece — and how she experienced God’s presence in the midst of the pain. She shares how that season shaped the songs on her debut solo album, Reason That I Sing, and why she was determined to write music filled with hope and rooted in God’s faithfulness. Wohrle also explains why she believes a worship leader’s goal should be to become “as invisible as possible” and point people toward Jesus. Plus, she discusses the fresh spiritual hunger she sees among younger generations and why she believes God is moving in a powerful way.
