Have you ever thanked God for a prayer he didn’t answer?

At first, unanswered prayers can feel painful and confusing. We wonder why God stayed silent or closed a door we desperately wanted opened. But often, with time and perspective, we begin to realize that God was lovingly protecting us from something we could not yet see.

 

This devotional prayer is a reminder that God’s wisdom is always higher than ours. His delays, denials, and redirections are not signs of abandonment — they are evidence of his loving care. Even when we don’t understand his answers in the moment, we can trust that he always sees the full picture of our lives.
