At one time or another, all of us will face times of uncertainty. The reality is that none of us are secure in this world except in Christ. Nothing is certain.
We are naturally drawn to the things that impact our daily lives. We have to intentionally redirect our minds to focus on the bigger picture. We have to train our minds to stress less about the daily grind and think more about the things that truly matter for eternity.
Some jobs really are difficult to enjoy, but the Lord shows us that you can approach even those jobs joyfully. The key is to associate your work both with the Lord’s work and to see it as the Lord sees it: worthy, dignified, and necessary.
When we are physically, mentally, or spiritually drained, we need far more than propping up. We need a sense that God is real and involved in our lives. We need to claim the truths we have in our Father God and His Son, Jesus, our Savior.
Work is not just an opportunity to make money, to bring something of value to the world, or to occupy your time – work, in the hands of the Holy Spirit, is actually an opportunity to grow in Christ.
